Lakonía Kalamata Olives thrive in optimal conditions in our family groves in southern Greece. They are naturally cultivated, carefully selected and handpicked and at peak ripeness and are cured without chemicals, just as they were centuries ago. Following the harvest, our olives are shipped directly to Saco, Maine, where they are packed in our own family’s gluten-free brine recipe. Our brine is made with apple cider vinegar and contains less salt than most. This allows one to taste the natural, rich flavor of the olive fruit. These olives are marvelous on pizza, in salads, omelets, sandwiches, as an addition to grilled vegetables, or as an appetizer.
